This purchase is for a pair fo frame sliders. The slider pucks are made of UHMW-PE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), a tough plastic with good strength, wear resistance and dimensional stability. Unlike typical slider pucks, they are not hollowed out in the center. The result is up to 40% increase in strength. During the development of the sliders, we found out that it takes sometimes to remove the engine bolts. We decide to make the sliders from two independent pieces: the aluminum base(in black powder-coat) and the puck. The aluminum base is mounted on the engine bolt. The puck is mounted to the aluminum base. This design allows the easy and inexpensive replacement of the slider pucks without removing and reinstalling the engine mounts. None of our competitors put this thought into the design. The bolts are made of highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength). Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.
